1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing and using the ReliWise platform, you agree to and are bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Definitions
- Student (Knowledge Seeker/KS): A user who signs up to learn and attend sessions with scholars.
- Scholar: A verified teacher or scholar who provides Islamic education services through the platform.
- Platform: The ReliWise website and application, including all of their features and services.
3. Registration & verification
All users must register with accurate and valid information. Scholars must complete a credential verification process before they can offer services. Students must verify their email address after signing up.
4. Code of conduct
All interactions on the platform must uphold Islamic etiquette (adab). Content that conflicts with Islamic values, hate speech, or harassment of any kind is strictly prohibited and will result in account suspension.
Code of Conduct
ReliWise is a place to learn with respect. By joining, you agree to be respectful and constructive, and to ask and answer in good faith. Disrespectful behavior, harassment, hateful or extremist content, or questions meant to provoke will lead to a permanent ban. We are here to learn together.
ReliWise respects all Islamic traditions of learning. We do not take sides between schools of thought, and we ask everyone to treat differences with an open heart.
Moderation and bans exist only to protect a respectful learning space for everyone, not to limit sincere questions.
5. Sessions & payments
All sessions must take place through the ReliWise platform. Off-platform transactions are prohibited to protect the safety and quality of the service. The platform-wide cancellation policy applies to every session, as detailed below.
Cancellation & refund policy
- Sessions can be cancelled free of charge up to 3 hours before the start time.
- Less than 3 hours before the session, cancellation is no longer available; if a last-minute cancellation does happen, the refund is 0%.
- If the scholar cancels the session, 100% of the session fee is refunded.
- If the scholar does not attend, 100% of the session fee is refunded.
- If the student does not attend without cancelling, the refund is 0%.
Refund percentages are a DRAFT and take full effect when in-app payments launch. For now, payment is still arranged directly with the scholar after the session.
6. Ratings & reviews
After each session, both parties (student and scholar) can leave a rating and a review. Reviews must be honest, constructive, and reflect the actual experience.
Content & license
Content you publish (posts, comments, questions, reviews) remains yours. By publishing it you grant ReliWise a non-exclusive license to display and distribute it on the platform. You are responsible for what you publish and must hold the rights to it.
Religious content disclaimer
Answers, articles, and sessions reflect the knowledge and viewpoint of the individual scholar, not an official ruling (fatwa) by ReliWise. Qur'an text and translations come from cited, trusted sources (King Fahd Complex, Kementerian Agama RI, Saheeh International, Bubenheim & Elyas); adhkar cite their narration sources. If you find an error, please report it via the feedback button — accuracy matters to us. ReliWise content is religious education, not legal, medical, or financial advice.
Suspension & account deletion
ReliWise may suspend or ban accounts that violate these terms or the code of conduct. You may request deletion of your account at any time via the feedback button or your profile; your account is deactivated and your personal data handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
Availability & liability
ReliWise is provided "as is". We work to keep the service available and correct, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Sessions are agreements between student and scholar; ReliWise facilitates but is not a party to them. To the extent permitted by law, ReliWise is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the platform.
7. Privacy & data security
ReliWise is committed to protecting users' personal data in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. Personal information will not be shared with third parties without the user's consent.
8. Changes to these terms
ReliWise may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be announced through the platform and take effect from the date of publication.
